Last Sept. 7, 2007, Notre Dame of Greater Manila celebrated it’s 44th Foundation Day. One of the highlights of the celebration was the grade school field demonstration. We were required to provide for the costumes that the children would be using during the event. Being a grade six student, my son was required to war white jogging pants, a plain red t-shirt and a pair of rubbershoes.

Just to update y’all, Sept. 7, 2011 was another celebration at Notre Dame of Greater Manila. This time, my son is graduating from High School at Notre. It was great event and all the performers performed exceptionally. Below is a photo of my son who is now in 4th Year High School, and a video of portions of their Field Demo last Sept. 7, 2011.

Have a blessed day everyone!

Hi Paulyn! I was searching about NDGM and Google pointed me to your blog. My son will be in grade 1 next year and I am planning to move him in a better school. One of my choices is NDGM, in fact my son is scheduled for an entrance test this coming january.
Would you mind sharing me some of your insights about the quality of education in NDGM? I do not have friends who studied in NDGM that’s why I decided to seek opinion from others.
How is the English proficiency of their students? Do they encourage english speaking? How about the math and science subjects? Do you have any ideas if there are students from NDGM who made it in Philippine Science High school? how about in University of the Philippines?
Is it true that it hard to be included in the honor roll of NDGM?
I hope you could give me some feedbacks. Thanks in adavance.

Hi Larraine!
If you’re looking for quality education, you won’t regret sending your son to NDGM.
My son is graduating in gradeschool this coming March, and he has been in that school since Kindergarten. They teach and encourage the children to speak English fluently. It’s not hard to be included in the honor roll, as long as your son is consistent. Yes, I know there are some former Damers who are currently in Pisay, although I don’t know them personally.
Good luck to your son on his entrance exam, and thanks for dropping by!

Hello… I am Mr. Rommel H. Deocaris, MACoEd I am a professor in NCBA-Fairview. I got my elementary and High school in Notre Dame class of 1985 and 1989.
Being an educator of almost 6 years in the collegiate level, I still havent found another school that can best Notre Dame. Its deep seated in tradition and yet forging the cutting edge of tomorrow! My elementary and high school days gave me the foundation of who I am now and what I can still do in the future…
So for you proud parents, The best education is still available at Notre Dame. Go Irish!!!

Hi Larraine. I seconded Rommel in his comment. I also got my Elementary and High School diplomat from NDGM; same batch with Rommel. Actually, he’s one of my few friends during our elementary days.
To give you some facts regarding the quality of education at NDGM; I was a Finalist in the UP Math Wizard 1994 representing AMA Computer University. And my numerical skill, I can say, was honed at NDGM.
Don’t make any second thought of sending your son to this school. It pays to be a Damer… but everything still depends on God’s blessings. Goodluck!

Hi Larraine,
As a garaduate of NDGM all I can say is that their way of teaching is beyond quality, NDGM is one of the best school to have an education for a better future. I think my success in life I owe to this community and it gave me a head start in my profession.
And to comment on Eddie’s achievement…all i can say is his one of the best when it comes to math. Cheers Eddie.

Hi Ms Larraine
Although, I am a graduate of Notre Dame from Kinder1 up to Grade 6 only(1985-1993), I owe what I am right now to this school especially in terms of moral and values. Congratulations to my beloved Alma Mater on it’s 45th Anniversary. Hoping that someday I may able to visit NDGM and cherish the good memories that I have been in this school.

NDGM alumni/ Ms Paulyn,
thanks for sharing your insights.
its good to know that I made the right decision to transfer my daughter in NDGM. She is really good in math and english. She is an upcoming Kinder 2 this coming school year and I really hope that she will do better in NDGM. Morethan the academics I sincerely hope that she will learn and develop the right values with the help of NDGM educators.

Hi, my son is 6 years old and will be graduating this march, I am scouting a school for the next level some says he should past kinder 2 first that is the pre requisite before enrolling in grad 1. May I know if NDGM could give a good and quality education to my son.
