Corregidor is an island located at the entrance of the Manila Bay.  This island is one of those important historic and tourist sites in the Philippines because during the World War II, Corregidor was the place where several battles occurred.   The fall of Corregidor to the Japanese forces was instrumental in the capture of the Philippines and the retreat of the Americans during the early stages of the war.

Jesus has risen!  What a beautiful day for us!  For me, the third day after Good Friday will always be a special day. It always reminds me that Christ died for us on the Cross to redeem us from our sins… and His rising from the dead on the third day is a great victory for us!

As the Apostle Paul writes:
1 Corinthians 15



 3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.



14And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

Yes!  Our Lord has risen!  We are truly blessed! It is because Christ lives that we can face tomorrow!  So let us stash away all our heartaches, disappointments and frustrations and look forward to the beauty of our life because The Christ’s Resurrection has given us a new hope!  Thank You dear Lord for this wonderful gift!  Thank You for Your Great Love!

God’s love is truly overwhelming… a faithful love that no human being can surpass.  He has given us His only Son to die on the cross to save us all from our sins.  We are so unworthy, so forgetful and undeserving.
